Potato Rosti

I discovered this recipe on youtube while searching for hash brown and decided to do the basic Rosti. After a successful try, I experimented and added a few more ingredients and here’s the result.

I’m not good at measurements but here are the ingredients:

3 medium sized potatoes (shredded)
1 medium sized white onion (chopped finely)
75g ground pork
2 hotdogs (optional-minced)
2 bokchoy leaves (you can use lettuce or cabbage also – chopped finely)
Seasoning (salt and pepper or magic sarap powdered seasoning)
1 beaten egg
6 tablespoons flour

Procedure:
1. Just mix all ingredients until it’s sticking together. More flour can be added if needed.
2.  Heat oil in the pan.
3. Scoop the mixture and drop a spoonful of the mixture in the pan. Press the mixture to form a cake pattie
4.  Fry until brown

Dip in sauce of choice

It’s so easy to cook that preparation is longer than the cooking itself.
