Bilang (Count - Tagalog lang #8)

It's time to learn to count (bumilang |boo-mee-lung|) in Tagalog.

Words:
One     -  Isa (ee-suh)
Two    -  Dalawa  ( duh - luh - wuh)
Three  -  Tatlo  ( tut - loe )
Four    -  Apat  ( uh - putt )
Five    -   Lima   ( lee - muh )
Six      -   Anim  ( uh - neem )
Seven -  Pito  ( pee - toe )
Eight  -  Walo  ( wuh - loe )
Nine   -  Siyam   ( see - yum )
Ten    -  Sampu  ( sum - poo )

Trivia:
Append "ng" when using the tagalog number/counting words if referring to the number of animals, objects etc.

Use in a sentence:
One eggplant
Isang eggplant (remember to append "ng") and it's pronounced isang ( ee - sung )

Two apples
Dalawang apples (remember to append "ng") and it's pronounced dalawang ( duh - luh - wung )

Tricky isn't it? well, whoever said learning another language is ever just a piece of cake?

"Jesus Christ loves you and died for you."

- anim na saging

nine potatoes
