Women-ish on the "Ampatuan Massacre"

Concepcion “Connie” Jayme Brezuela is a women’s rights lawyer in Mindanao, 56 years old, only 4’8”, was one of the mercilessly murdered in the Maguindanao massacre. I don’t know her personally and I don’t have to, to feel infuriated by the “Ampatuan massacre”.

As of this writing, 57 journalists and women have been officially reported dead, all shot to death heinously on November 23, 2009 in Ampatuan.

It’s beyond barbaric. The evil of the ‘greed for power’, the decline of the morals of those in the office who are the ones supposed to protect the citizens of this country.

I join the nation in mourning for the victims and cry for JUSTICE. May we never forget.
