I posted about her (Cancer patient) a few weeks ago, asking for prayers. She went thome to the Lord yesterday September 30, 2009.

I clasp my hand, so tightly shut
And put it closely to my heart
With all the memories entrapped,
The laughter that we had
In a clasp so tightly shut
And holding closely to my heart

Farewell for now, until that day
I too should go and fly away
And meet you there, on heaven’s gate
…Where tears abate…and I can’t wait,

Now I open my hand, like so
And for some fleeting days, I will not know
Your touch, your smile, your heart and soul
And tears just overflow
I just want you to know
I open my hand… to let you go
