Dealing with detractors

Do you have detractors? People who have nothing better to do than make your life harder? People who really have no reason to be annoyed with you but they just are, who likes to bully you around and burst your bubble? What about those who stab you in the back and subtly schemes to make you look bad?

There are several reasons I can think of why some people just won’t let up and need to make you suffer. They could be jealous of you, you’re more popular, more reliable, better looking, you’re just liked better. These bullies could be people at your work place, in your neighborhood, in class, friends of your friends, relatives of your boyfriend/husband, worse; people at church.

Well, calm down and cheer up. God can see and watches over you. I’d say get back at them by killing them with kindness, love and always smile back.

God does and we keep falling short of His glory BUT he keeps loving us, giving us second chances, third, fourth and who are we to deserve that?

…Difficult to apply but true. If God would give us what we really deserve, pay us back for every disobedience, rejection and sin we’ve done, we’d all be in hell.
It never hurts to repay with kindness.
