Are you tired of being nice?
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up – Galatians 6:9”
Being nice or kind isn’t glamorous at all. It’s very demanding and often with little reward from another human being. There’s a bigger chance your kindness won’t be returned and worse, someone actually thinking you’re being nice with a sinister plan.
Well, think positive. Don’t expect anything and it doesn’t matter what others think of us? It’s what’s in our hearts that’s important, our hearts that God see, our hearts that has the right reasons, our hearts that want to “love others just as Christ loves us (John13:34).
It takes faith to continue doing good, and by God’s grace, we’ll be able to.
