My reading this morning...
Lamentations 3:19-23 (New Living Translation)
19 - The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond
words.
I cried out to the Lord and asked him to help me, take this thorn that's
painfully piercing through me beyond words.
20 - I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss.
...that may I be reminded of the lessons learned in the past but I've forgotten
yet again.
21 - Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this:
19 - The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond
words.
I cried out to the Lord and asked him to help me, take this thorn that's
painfully piercing through me beyond words.
20 - I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss.
...that may I be reminded of the lessons learned in the past but I've forgotten
yet again.
21 - Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this:
To not lose hope at a time I can't see any.
22 - The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.
To completely rely and trust in God's faithfulness and mercy.
23 - Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
That tomorrow is another day to look forward to.
