The few good men

(The ones we ought to go for)

1. Godly men – Godly doesn’t necessarily mean ministers but just men who follow God from the heart.

2. Godly men who are wise – Being Godly is wise but by being wise here I mean, those who plan, who think long term, who doesn’t rush into commitments or jump into relationships without thinking it over a hundred times.

3. Godly men who are wise and sincere – Those who don’t play around, whose words and action we can trust and rely on.

4. Godly men who are wise, sincere and faithful – who can stick to one.

5. Godly men who are wise, sincere, faithful and lighthearted - guys who can laugh with us, make light of things and find humor in difficult and awkward situations, even laugh at our silliness.

6. Godly men who are wise, sincere, faithful, lighthearted and gentle – who wouldn’t beat us up or will ever inflict injury on us. Who wouldn’t bully us, use his strength, power or fear to coerce us into something we strongly disapprove or disagree doing.

7. Godly men who are wise, sincere, faithful, lighthearted, gentle and love us – someone said to me, a long time ago, to always go for the one who loves me.

He might have all those qualities above but if he doesn’t love us back, the kind and show of love that can make us feel secure in it, then, he can never make us happy.
