Kho/Halili Controversy (what we’re overlooking)

What business were single women doing having sex with a man who isn’t their husband in the first place? A man who, at the time, was someone else’s boyfriend even? Was it love? They fell in love with a guy who was, obviously, cheating on his girlfriend then? Have our (us, women) standards and moral hit that low already?

I am all for any law that would punish whoever disseminated the "Kho/Halili and others" sex video. No doubt there’s violation of privacy there and no amount of reasoning can justify the infringement done. And this is not the first case of this, there have been more before, they just didn’t made headlines even if the victims went to the authorities because they weren’t celebrities.

A girl went to a local crime show host because her boyfriend uploaded nude pictures and a video of her naked in the shower (taken by her bf with her permission) because she was breaking up with him. He was blackmailing her.

What was she thinking allowing a man to whom she’s not married to, to take nude photos of her and tape her in the shower? Don’t we, women realize that men like these are pigs?

Don’t we think we deserve better than be girl toys and sex objects to men? Gone were the days when women weren’t equal with men, we were higher. We were untouchables? You touch us, you marry us. Either you give proper respect or you’re a sorry roach. That’s how valuable we used to see ourselves.

How can the men give proper respect when we’re in front of them (who are not our husbands and are obviously just using us for their lustful desires) stripping our clothes more than willingly? They won’t refuse something we’re giving them they don’t even deserve.

Why do we stoop down that low? We have a choice not to.
