12 days before Christmas

Can’t afford to buy everyone a gift with all the friends you have? Oh if only we can put love in a box, wrap it and give it as Christmas present, there’ll be less lonely singles and children in the world. If only making someone happy is that simple.

Oh well, fret not. There are other ways to show love this season, should do that all year round but unfortunately, not everyday is as commercialized.

So, if you’re on a strict budget (like me), Here are some things you can do to give away:

Make cards! –Doesn’t matter if your not a seasoned artist, you can always just say “it’s abstract”, it’s the thought that counts and the labor of love you put in it.

Write a letter or note! – Alright, if you really can’t stand your own creativity, I’m sure you can write. It doesn’t have to be long and profound. A short, sincerely written one will do the trick. Sometimes all that one needs to hear is how she/he is deeply appreciated and cared for.

Give something small – Let’s say your hand writing is just as bad as your ability to draw and you’re just not the type who makes sense when writing, so why not give something small, a little keepsake that won’t cost much OR something small that’s important to you, something you’ve kept for a long time already. Sometimes, it’s the small things that really make the memories.

Give time! Visit! – Now, we know that December is like the busiest time of the year. Relatives arrive for vacation, reunions, Christmas parties, not to mention shopping for gifts and were just busy, busy, busy. Well, call, text, visit. Nowadays, giving time is the most expensive way to make someone feel important because it’s the hardest thing to spare.

You still have 12 days.

Aloha, Thess... I don't know what happened to my blog's settings but the "comment" settings just won't work. You can post messages in my shoutbox though.

Have an enjoyable weekend!
