Love in Waiting (Part IV)

You want him so you bait?

First scenario:
You really can’t wait anymore! Let’s say you’re not particularly interested in anyone, you just WANT to have someone already but you’re not getting any attention. No one twists his neck when you pass by to follow your walk and you’re so tired of not getting noticed, so you do a drastic measure.

You start wearing less clothes (jaw drops). You’re thinking if you show some knee, back or belly, they will definitely look. You’re right! Even I, will notice you but NOT for the right reasons. Oh yeah, the guys will be looking. But when your skirt is so mini you tug it down every five seconds or whenever you sit, the guys aren’t thinking you’re demure, in their heads, they’re saying – “Oh c’mon, you know you wore that to show me more, don’t be a hypocrite!”

You see the men staring at you from head to foot but thinking, “This is definitely not the girl I’m going to marry or introduce to mom but she seems FUN.” You’re FUN, entertaining to look at and? And? Anything else?

Seduction is definitely NOT the way to get a good guy, or any guy at all. They will go for it, yes. FOR IT not for you! You want “LOVE” NOT “LUST”.

Second scenario:
You have a boyfriend you love to death and only death (literally) can separate you from him. And you’re thinking sex will bond him to you. Yes, you will make some connection there; some bond BUT NOT to you but to the act of sleeping together (which is what usually happens). Of course he will keep coming back for it, it’s pleasurable AND IT’S FREE without commitment of marriage! But is that the only thing you’d want him to keep you for?

Don’t you think you have more to offer than just that to keep him? What kind of men would you be attracting if flesh is all they’re after and all you’ve got to show for? You want “TO BE LOVED” NOT “TO BE USED”.

I’d say educate yourself; keep your clothes, on; your chin, up; your values, high; your faith, strong and you will SHINE.

“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.” – Proverbs 31:10

Thanks. I hope that every woman, young or older who'd come to read this will realize how special 'she' truly is and deserves nothing less than the best.
