Life after the heartbreak
Is there anything to look forward to after your most painful break-up?
Yes, there is, a lot. May take a short time, may take a long time to heal but you do get there.
Yes, there is, a lot. May take a short time, may take a long time to heal but you do get there.
You just wake up one morning, you’re not hurting anymore. Your fears of getting hurt one more time have subsided and your heart is ready to beat again.
You meet someone new you like, someone awesome you think and you realize you were right when you said ‘you’ll never love like that again’ because it will feel different this time. Before, it was all emotional, selfish, possessive.
Now you’re older (at least, by a few years), wiser and chooses better. You’re just relaxed, taking your time, breezing through the processes of romance, and though you let yourself slowly fall, though you love and can give more, you reserve some for yourself. So if it doesn’t fall through, you can let go without wailing to the wall (Not out of fear but out of wisdom). You know that whatever happens, you’ll be alright.
Because you’ve been there before and have discovered that, heartbreaks may hurt for sometime but that changes and things do get so much better. Not just life, yourself but also the ones you meet after. You’re at peace, at last.
Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for Jehovah will be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. – Isaiah 60:20
