Some need not marry anymore because they’ve already tied the knot with their careers. No time for social life or anyone else unless it’s someone who can further get you to your goal. Everything is for achieving “THE GOAL”, reaching “THE TOP”, making it. Nothing wrong with that, it’s good to have objectives; give one direction, as long as you don’t get obsessed with them more than you should.
You come home to a quiet place, sit on the sofa and stare at your trophies, medals, plaques of appreciation and never notice the dust they’ve accumulated already. You’ve framed your first five-figured check and it hangs lifeless on the wall. Dead to the world, dead to even you who worked your butt off and forsook everything else to get it.
So is this all the company you’ll have till success part you from life, dead things on the wall and display shelves? Some came along but you had no time, not even for God, if you did, they were left-over minutes. You sit there, lonely, gawking at your priced achievements that are oblivious of you and you realize you’re on TOP,...ALONE.
